Is your company licensed and insured?

Yes, Treasure Moving Company is fully licensed and insured under the Department of Transportation (DOT# 2431129) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (MC# 847222).

What is your pricing structure and what can I expect to pay?

We keep it simple by charging a flat hourly rate for our services. Please note that for the vast majority of our jobs we charge a minimum. This allows us to take on a certain number of moves each day and do them carefully and efficiently. To get the exact rate we’d charge for your move, as well as a custom estimate of the time it’d take, please fill out our free estimate form or simply give us a call at 1 (855) 715 - 6683.

In our estimate, we’ll also let you know if any other charges would apply to your move. A fairly comprehensive Iist of extras that may apply include:

  • Additional movers

  • Piano, pool table, gym equipment, large appliances and other oversized items that require special handling

  • Variety of moving boxes and packing supplies

We’ll always let you know if any of these charges apply to you before the time of the move. There are never any hidden fees or charges!

Please NOTE that we provide complete blanket wrapping of all furniture free of charge, as well as disassembly/ assembly of your bed(s) and we do not charge labor tax, toll fees, mileage or fuel.

How do you calculate the minimum time and any time beyond it?

Our clock starts when we arrive at your first location and stops when we’re done at your final location. For any time beyond the minimum, we prorate in 15 minute increments.

Do you offer full packing services?

What types of payments do you accept? Do you require a deposit?

We accept checks, cash and credit card payments (5% surcharge for credit card payments). We do not require a deposit. Payment is due at the completion of your move.

Do you accept tips?

​​Movers usually don't expect a tip but it is greatly appreciated when given. More than anything, it's a sign that you recognized their effort and thought it worthy. If you appreciated their work, let them know.

Do you have a cancellation fee?

We do have a cancelation policy. When clients reschedule on short notice it can be very difficult or impossible to find a replacement job, and this impacts the business significantly. If you cancel or reschedule within a week before your move we charge a one hour fee. Inside of 48 hours we charge for two hours.

All of our employees are professional movers, have years of quality experience, and use state-of-the-art moving equipment. We carry liability and cargo insurance and use care in our work. Whether your move is residential or a business move, local or long - distance, we have the means to accommodate your needs.

Travel time is the time that it takes for us to come to the pickup location to start the move and get back to our base after the offload.
