Our COVID-19 Commitment
Below are the CDC recommended protocols we have put in place
Precautionary Daily Health Routine To Be Utilized Throughout The Day:
- Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer where soap and water are not available.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
- Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
- Stay home when you are sick.
- Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
- Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.
- Avoid all large gatherings where possible
Daily Sanitizing Routine:
Wiping down all offices, doors, electronic equipment, including all Treasure Moving Company Vehicles daily. Recurring post work detail with disinfectants available.
Travel Restrictions/Travel Bans:
Since early March Treasure Moving Company has been following travel restriction guidelines in accordance with the CDC and WHO and asked all employees to share travel plans to CDC defined high risk areas.
We’ve instructed our employees that experience symptoms or traveled to high risk areas as defined by the CDC or who been in direct contact with those who have traveled to high risk areas, to not report to work and contact their doctor and Treasure Moving Company HR.
Social Distancing Measures:
We asked that offices stagger dispatches to limit employees gathering. We are limiting office operations and asking sales to follow CDC guidance and allow work from home procedures to achieve this where required. We’ve asked where reasonable, all crews and trucks remain the same daily.
General Health Inquires Daily:
Though we are not medical providers, all managers have been asked to inquire daily and with all employees (Pre/post work) if they are experiencing any of the CDC COVID-19 Symptoms. Any confirmed employee is sent home and Treasure Moving Company follows CDC recommended return to work guidelines before employee can return. This applies to all Treasure Moving Company employees including management.
Treasure Moving Coronavirus Sick Return Policy:
If any Treasure Moving Company employee is exhibiting symptoms, or has a family member that is exhibiting symptoms, they are to be sent home immediately and will return with the guidance of HR and CDC guidelines.
We asked each employee to wear a pair of rubberized gloves and masks on each job. If these products are in short supply and or not available (market specific) we are continuing to follow all other recommended procedures defined above.
Higher Risk For Severe Illness Environments:
At this time in efforts to protect the public, temporarily we will not be servicing moves that service the following areas below:
- Nursing Homes
- Retirement center
- Long term care facilities
- Hospital/Medical Facilities
Important “Open Communication”:
We are asking all customers if they feel uncomfortable to move for any reason or if any of their family members have experienced COVID-19 symptoms, or if you or others we are moving are at higher risk for serious illness from COVID-19 (because of your age, serious long-term health problems or CDC defined risk); please let us know immediately so we can continue to protect each other and reschedule as necessary.
Our company culture commits each of us at Treasure Moving Company, to do good for our customers, our families, and neighbors in the communities we serve. Faith brings us hope that this will pass quickly, yet our focus is on what we can do today. We are grateful to the healthcare workers, companies, gov. agencies, experts and leaders around the world who are on the front line working to contain the Coronavirus.
The health and safety of our employees and customers is our #1 priority.
We are here for you and are carefully following the CDC’s instructions and guidance.
